about.

our goal.

Team 10's goal is to create a robust and expandable inventory management system for Bently Nevada so that internal employees can easily navigate and reserve recreational items. Users will be able to reserve multiple items at a time and view current/past reservations, as well as return items up to the item expiry window with no penalty.

tech stack.

Bently Adventure's new website will be constructed with the MEVN tech stack. This tech stack includes MongoDB, Express, Vue, and Node.

functionality.

Users will be able to browse current inventory and filter items by category, availability, or through direct search. Upon selecting an item, the user can reserve the item and view current/past reservations.

Admins will be able to monitor user privileges as well as see reservation history and add/remove new items to the database. Admins will also be able to monitor user status and promote/remove additional users as necessary.

accessibility.

To ensure accessibility to all users our website will include visual indicators alongside color coded reservation status prompts in the case of colorblind users utilizing the site. Additionally, we will integrate a "working out of the box" user flow so that users are directed to the Browse page upon signing into their account to allow for ease of use for those who are not comfortable with technology.
